O Sundar, the fool thinks only of ‘I ‘and ‘my’,
He says: “My body is mine,
And so are my family and house.
I have plenty of money and capital And am great in various ways.
I have numerous servants,
Who dare not disregard my lightest whim.
My wife is both lovely and youthful
And adores me, of course.
My father and grandfather
Were both the pride of the town,
But I am the light of the entire universe. ”
The thought that never seems to enter his mind is:
“I am simply a morsel for the god of death. ”
