A sangha is a spiritual group who meet regularly, often every evening for 45 minutes – 1 hour and undertake group devotions the form of prayers, holy chants, spiritual readings from holy texts and meditations. Historically, they were set up and guided by God-Realized teachers but spiritually minded people can benefit by forming their own groups. Religion has always been a vehicle for power and control over others and so a group should  have a written constitution to minimize this happening. Great discrimination must be exercised by the individual in choosing or forming a group as there are always false prophets and pseudo gurus. Those teachers who talk of a perpetually healthy body, and a life of luxury, wealth and fame, are in darkness. Our karma rules our body and our duty to make our vritties brahmakara (of the nature of Brahman).

We believe that the following posts will point to the real as they are accounts of the sangha of a modern God-Realized teacher and so the words teacher and pupil appear. Such teachers invariably took on karma of their pupils, so as to advance them spiritually, but at great cost to their own physical health. Such teachers were servants of their pupils as well of all mankind. Real spiritual groups generate radiations which lift up the spirits of the regions around them without anyone knowing.

Our principles are those of other-worldliness

That we do not create visionaries who are themselves cut off from the hard practical life of the world, only contemplating God, or Truth. The test of successful meditation is its application to daily life. In this respect the system of Adhyatma Yoga is different from...
